It is unsettling to see where evil sometimes hides. That kind of ogre that looks a bit like Shrek remains, in my opinion, the most terrible of villains. He, too, moved within the sphere of determinism and, like every destructive force, was eventually stopped. Today, however, we live in the age of pure destructivism: a character like that would likely rise to government now.
