This work is a portrait of endurance over time. An elderly man, marked by the years passed and the few that still await him, stands with an open torso, his muscle fibers exposed like an architecture of flesh flayed by the intensity of his life experience. Two rivers of blood flow visibly from his heart wound, tracing a map of deep and uninterrupted bonds, a continuous current slipping away without pause. Despite the severity of this dissection, the man does not react with cries of pain; his face is an abyss of fatigue, a resignation that borders on indifference. It is a silent self-defense, a detachment that has thickened over time, rendering physical wounds a secondary detail compared to his quest. This same suffering, protracted and inevitable, reveals itself as a tool of knowledge, a ruthless illumination that strips life of any pretense of intrinsic meaning, revealing the naked mechanics of earthly things. In this journey devoid of spiritual supports, where every pain is only a link in an infinite deterministic chain of cause and effect—a determined and irreversible weight coming from the past—the man is not entirely alone. Before him, the light of intuition is persistent and engulfs him, a different and necessary presence that illuminates his persistence, a silent companion on a path of pure and necessary existence.
